UB ,the capital of Mongolia ,is a shopper‘s paradise ,with plenty of department stores as well as thousands of delightful smaller shops.
Collectors can find rare books in the ‘Inter’ bookshop on the Baga toiruu street .There are also some great department stores which sell everything from perfume to furniture .UB’ largest department store is State department store .It is located on the Enkh taivan avenue .Here you can find almost anything ,generally a bit more expensive than other markets .It offers a great variety of high quality woolen skirts ,leather jackets and designer clothes .The sky shopping centre is located on the Zaluuchuud avenue .It is most expensive shopping centre in UB ,but it is most pleasurable .There is a good quality souvenir section as well as food ,clothing and jewellery.
Shops in UB are usually open from nine or ten in the morning till about eight in the evening,from Monday to Saturday.The big sales come before ‘Naadam’and ‘New year’.
